This recipe for Quiche Lorraine is from Shirley Neuman.
Ingredients Quiche Lorraine:
1 9 inch ready made pie crust 1/4 lb shredded or diced ham 1 cup (4 oz) Swiss cheese 1/3 cup minced onion 2 eggs 1 cup half and half less than 3/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp sugar 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
InstructionsMix ham, cheese, and onion together in bowl. Put it into the pie crust.
Beat 2 eggs. Mix with 1 cup half n half. Add less than 3/4 tsp salt, 1h tsp sugar and 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper. Put over ingredients in the crust. Bake in a preheated 425 oven for 15 minutes. Lower heat to 300 and bake 30 minutes more or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
