Romano Garlic Bread

More recipes:

1 italian baguette
1/2 cup butter
4 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/3 cup grated romano cheese (you may substitute parmesan if romano is not available)

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F.

Combine butter, garlic and basil in a bowl.

Slice the bread into 3/4 inch slices, at an angle so that each slice has increased suface area.

Spread butter mixture between bread slices. Add some of the mixture along the top of the loaf.

Wrap in aluminum foil, but leave a little slit in the top. Bake for approximately 15 minutes.
