Ingredients:Round steak, 1 inch thick, cut into pieces Flour Oil Onions Celery Mushrooms - Sliced 1 clove Garlic - chopped 8 oz can tomatoes 1/4 tsp basil 1/4 tsp thyme 1 tsp sugar (or to taste)Pound in flour until steak is flattened. Sprinkle with salt and pepper Brown in oil Place in casserole Saute onions, sliced celery, sliced mushrooms, garlic, tomatoes, basil, thyme, and sugar, add to steak. Bake 15 - 30 minutes at 300. Bake a little longer if the meat is not tender, but don't let the casserole dry out. |
