Pickled Shrimp

2 cups vinegar
15 bay leaves

5 lbs cooked shrimp, peeled
3 large Bermuda onions, sliced

French Dressing:
2 cups oil
2tsp salt
1 cup lemon juice
1 tbs paprika
4 tbs Worcestershire sauce
4 tbs katsup
1/2 tsp Tabasco
1 tsp black pepper

Boil 2 cups vinegar and 15 bay leaves for 5 minutes.

Make French dressing

Place shrimp and onions in alternate layers in a bowl. Pour dressing over them. Let stand for several hours before serving.
