Lemon Sauce

This recipe for Lemon Sauce is from Mary Eleanor Williams Bailey.
This sauce is great over ginger bread.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup sugar
1 tbs cornstarch
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 cup boiling water
2 tbs butter
3 tbs lemon juice
lemon rind


Blend sugar, cornstarch, salt and nutmeg. Gradually add boiling Water, stirring constantly. Add butter and lemon juice.
