Chili Recipe from Mary Eleanor Bailey

This recipe for Chile is from Mary Eleanor Williams Bailey..


3 med onions (chopped)
2+1/2 lbs Ground Chuck 
2 2-cup cans tomatoes (chop up with fork)
2 2+1/2 cup cans tomatoe juice
2 Tablespoons chile powder
1/4 cup or less sugar
salt + pepper to taste
1 clove mashed garlic
Katsup to taste
1 can of Kidney Beans
Saute onions until lightly browned

Add beef and brown. (For less fat, brown meat separately, drain, and add to the sauted onions).

Lightly boil for an hout or until desired consistency

Add the can of Kidney beans and reheat until lightly boiling.
