Ingredients:3 tbs flour 1/2 cup white sugar 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 cup butter 2 eggs, beaten 1 cup Karo syrup (Blue label) 1 cup pecans, cut up 1 tsp vanilla 1 unbaked pie shell
Cream butter and sugar. Add salt and Flour. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake for 10 minutes at 425, then 30 to 0 minutes at 325 or 300. Watch carefully because the top tends to get done sooner than the custard-like mixture. The nuts will go to the top and form a caramel, crunchy texture. |
