Pecan Pie

3 tbs flour

1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup Karo syrup (Blue label)
1 cup pecans, cut up
1 tsp vanilla
1 unbaked pie shell

Cream butter and sugar. Add salt and Flour.
Add eggs to above mixture, mix.
Then add syrup mixture.
Then add nuts.

Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake for 10 minutes at 425, then 30 to 0 minutes at 325 or 300. Watch carefully because the top tends to get done sooner than the custard-like mixture. The nuts will go to the top and form a caramel, crunchy texture.
